Since the beginning of last week, nine affordable condos have been listed on Marco Island. By affordable I mean, condos priced under $200,000, which on Marco Island is a steal. Let's take a look at where these condos are located.
Two were located in Anglers Cove which is off of Bald Eagle Dr., on the Marco River. Both are 1BR/1BA with 717 square feet with one priced at $119,000 and one at $138,000. The higher priced unit is located in the much sought after building "B" but other than that, they seem very similar. Aquarius also has two new listings; one at $99,900 and the other at $114,900. In this case, the more expensive unit is an efficiency with less square footage than the lower priced unit. It is nicely decorated and since it's turnkey, everything would stay with the property. The lower priced unit looks like a steal though with its nice kitchen and location.
Island Manor just had one listed at $92,000 for a 1BR/1BA with 536 square feet. I think because of the size and lack of updates in the Island Manor unit, Aquarius is a better deal. Smokehouse Bay also has a new listing at $159,900 for a 2BR/1BA with 711 square feet. It's great location on Smokehouse Bay and open floor plan make it a good buy. Ville De Marco has a 1BR/1BA with 570 square feet just listed at $165,000. This remodeled condo looks larger than its square footage would imply and is located right on the Marco River. Included in the property is a fishing pier, boat docks and a boat ramp. Its proximity to Old Marco also makes it desirable.
Southwinds has a 2BR/1BA with 704 square feet priced at $119,000. Located only 850 feet from Resident's Beach, this unit is also ground level with new paint, new carpet and "no worries"! The photos look great and from what I can see, make it the "deal of the week". Last but not least is Stevens Landing. The latest condo for sale features 2BR/2BA and 1021 square feet. Priced at $185,000, it's the most expensive offering out of the "affordable condos" this week. That being said, Stevens Landing is a gated community with direct water access. In addition,the condo itself has a completely remodeled kitchen, new fixtures and toilets in the baths along with numerous other upgrades.
