Have you ever dreamed of living on the beach?  How about having a view that goes on for miles?  This is what's possible when you purchase one of the condos on the gulf beaches of beautiful Marco Island.  The choices are endless.  You can choose from a view of the Gulf of Mexico or views of Marco Island.   One to two bedroom units are the most plentiful but three bedrooms are also available in some of the condos.

There are so many different types of condos available, the best way to start searching is probably by price.  Once you decide on a maximum price, you can narrow down your selection by square footage, updates, amenities and view.

Speaking of amenities, I think you'll definitely be "wowed" by the amenities offered by any of the beach side condos.  All have pools with views of the Gulf and many also offer community rooms with large, flat screen televisions that can be rented out for special occasions.  There are others that also include gyms and theatre rooms.

There is also some nice history that goes along with some of the Marco Island Beachfront Condos.  For example, Emerald Beach was the first condo to go up on the island.  Built in 1967, it will remind you a little of South Beach in Miami.  The same goes for Sunset House, built in 1969.  A penthouse unit in Sunset House was actually built for President Nixon before he opted for one on Biscayne Bay instead!  Next door to Emerald Beach sits Tradewinds.  The story behind it is also interesting.  Apparently the developers realized too late in the building process that the condo would not quite fit on the lot.  To rectify the situation, they decided to slightly angle it.  The result is quite lovely and looks like an intentional design choice.
