Known on Marco Island as one of the premier luxury communities, The Estates have been very active in the last 6 months. As of February 1st, 17 homes have sold ranging in price from $470,000-$2,500,000. The average selling price was 85% of asking price and the median days on market was 206. Not bad at all when you consider the price range and the fact that FL real estate is still recovering from the crash. Located on the south side of Marco Island, The Estates are off of South Heathwood, Barfield and Inlet Drives. To the east is Barfield Bay, in between the two sections of The Estates is Robert's Bay and to the south, the Gulf. One of the best things about living in this area is the quick access to the Gulf by boat. Since all of the waterfront lots are water direct, there are no bridges to cross under and you're already so close to the Gulf that it takes no time at all to get there. This is one reason that the area is so sought after and has some of the highest prices on the the Island.
