What have people been looking at the most on BuyMarco.com this week? Well, MLS# 2121558 is the winner - a South Seas two bedroom unit. When a listing achieves "most popular" on our website, it's usually sold or will be very soon. This is the case today as well. This condo was only on the market a week so, you value buyers out there need to move quickly. "If you snooze, you lose" has never been more true than it is this summer. If you need someone to help improve your reaction time, we can help. For a list of our picks for best value, contact us and ask for the current "Best Buys" list.
So, how did this all happen? This particular condo was the least expensive one available in South Seas Towers. The asking price on this 2BR/2BA unit in tower 4 was $279,900. That's a bargain anywhere but especially nice on the eighth floor. It was a Marco Island foreclosure that last sold for $496,000 in 2003. Now, if you check the 10 year price chart, 2003 was before things got crazy so $279,900 represents a huge bargain. In fact, this condo hasn't been valued this low in the last ten years.
There are still some great bargains in South Seas Towers. In fact, there is another unit with the same price tag, $279,900. It's on the second floor of Tower 2 . Some buyers prefer Towers 1 and 2 because the minimum rental period is 30 days so these buildings tend to be a little quieter than Towers 3 and 4 which can rent by the week. If you're looking for a low or mid-rise condo, South Seas offers these as well, right on Clam Bay.
Regardless which building you choose, South Seas is one of the nicest communities we have on Marco Island. The entire complex is gated and the views of the Gulf of Mexico and bay are spectacular from any unit. Every amenity is accounted for and the neighborhood is convenient to great shopping and dining.
What will the most popular listing be next week? Stay tuned to find out. In the meantime contact us for our "Best Buys" list.
