The Real Estate Rainbow

Home is not exactly the same thing for everyone. Everyone has their preferences, expectations and dream. The trick is to find a home that matches these aspects as closely as possible. The good news is that, when it comes to Marco Island real estate, the array of choice is so wide that your perfect home is certain to be somewhere on this tropical island paradise.

From cozy 1-bedroom Marco Island condos either in towering complexes offering superb views of the Gulf of Mexico, to multi-million dollar penthouse condos that provide every luxury that you could expect. The selection of Marco Island luxury homes is just as vast, and many offer private access to the beach.

Real estate here can be categorized as beachfront, waterway and inland properties. But which property matches your needs?

The Beachfront Option

The high quality of Marco Island real estate is famed throughout Florida, and a big reason for this is the exquisite beaches that line the west and north shores of the island.

Most of the Marco Island condo complexes are beachfront properties for precisely that reason, from the high rise towers of South Seas in the northern reaches of the western coastline to the high-class luxury developments on the southern tip of the island. Prices can range dramatically, with a 2-bedroom condo over around 1,000 sq ft costing around $300,000, and a luxury 5-bedroom penthouse condo over 7,000 sq ft, boasting panoramic gulf views, costing around $8 million.

Marco Island luxury homes facing the beach are often palatial in design, with 4-bedroom homes over about 5,000 sq ft, with exquisitely designed spacious interiors, costing as much as $10 million.

The Waterfront Option

The Gulf of Mexico can be too much to resist when your home is so close to its placid waters. Unsurprisingly then, Marco Island real estate has been developed to cater to boat owners and those who love to get onto the water, with a network of waterways allowing for easy access.

Many of the Marco Island condo complexes are positioned by a waterway, and most of them offer residents their own deeded dock space. Typically, a 2-bedroom condo covering an area of around 1,200 sq ft can be found for around $450,000, while 3-bedroom luxury condos over 3,200 sq ft costing around $2 million.

When it comes to finding a Marco Island luxury home right by a waterway, and with back-yard docks or near-by marina facilities provided, 3-bedroom houses over around 2,000 sq ft can be found for around $250,000. More luxurious homes looking out to a bay, boasting 5 bedrooms and more than 10,000 sq ft can cost $10 million.

The Inland Option

Inland Marco Island real estate is principally properties with no beach or dock access, but they can be found on Marco Island or a short distance onto the mainland. Ideal for those happy to stroll occasionally to the beach or enjoy the pool facilities already offered by the complex, a spacious 2-bedroom Marco Island condo can cost just $300,000, while 3-bedroom properties covering as much as 3,200 sq ft can cost around $800,000.

Much depends on the location, with golf lovers provided easy to world-class courses while also having the beach and boating options at their disposal whenever they want. A Marco Island luxury home in a golfing community (4 bedrooms over 4,000 sq ft) can cost more than $1 million, with smaller home less than $300,000.
