Congratulations to BuyMarco.com clients and their agent Sue Boyle for the purchase of an incredible penthouse in Tropicana. This 2004 built condo on the south end of Marco Island has 3035 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and fantastic amenities. Listed at $779,000, it sold immediately for $772,000.

951 S Collier Blvd., Marco Island, Florida

Tropicana is considered an "inland" condo on Marco Island. It's not directly on the water, it's across the street in a row of luxury condos. All of the homes in Tropicana enjoy southern exposure. Most have views of the Gulf and this particular penthouse has fantastic views of not only the Gulf of Mexico but the island as well.

If a spacious condo that feels like a home is important, Topicana will fit the bill. In fact, to get this king of roomy comfort, style and detail across the street on the water, you'll easily go past the $1MM mark. You're still just a 5 minute walk to the beach or a 5 minute ride to the boat landing at Caxambas Park.

The south end of Marco is the place to be for peace and quiet. No part of Marco Island is loud and hectic, but the south end is essentially a big cul-de-sac - no through traffic. It gets noticably quieter down here even in the high season. There are a couple of restaurants that might be considered "south end" like Konrad's or The Sunset Grille but that's about it. The tourist traffic stops at the Marco Walk shopping center.
